Based on a design in the Zoffany archive with the addition of marble textures inspired by panels seen in Swedish houses and hand-painted by the studio. The circular motifs in contrast to the subtle marble veining are printed with the application of an opaque ink giving an almost three dimensional effect. A pared down colour palette of natural stone colours conveys the classical restraint of this design.
